BOOTH VENDORS
Food Booths: Set up at your designated time. If unable, contact
Melinda immediately for further instructions.
Arts/Crafts/Businesses: Setup at your designated time. If you
choose to set up after 10:00AM, then you will need to walk items to
your booth space, as Mercer is closed.
On Sunday, booths can be set up from 7:00AM-10:00AM.
No refunds will be given. We expect this festival to continue
rain or shine. Rain did not deter our founders on the wagon trail to
Dripping Springs, and it will not deter our community's largest
festival of the year!
*************** ARTS AND CRAFTS
FOR ALL AGES
>>> St. Martin de Porres
Catholic Church, organizer for the event, coordinates the booths with
artisans and craftspeople from all around the Hill Country to sell their
unique, hand-crafted items.
>>> Stroll down Mercer Street
and discover booths brimming with unique clothing, hand-made items, furniture,
pottery, birdhouses, custom jewelry, and crafts for the kids. Meet local merchants as they welcome you into their downtown
shops.
>>> In addition to the craft
vendors, booths are also offered to many non-profit organizations such
as Friends of the Pound House, local scouting and veterans groups,
PAWS, Livestrong, Gabriel Project, Hays County Sheriff, Crime
Stoppers, Circle of Friends, CASA, and Relay for Life. These
non-profit organizations provide festival-goers with unique
opportunities to support local charities. Build a bird house! Buy a
raffle ticket! Adopt a dog!
>>> The funds raised by St.
Martins from renting these booths, charitably benefit hundreds of
people from Dripping Springs, Wimberley, Blanco, and Johnson City with
their utilities, rent, and medicine during the year. These funds are
also used to help support the food pantry that spends over $6,000 a
year helping families throughout this area.

BOOTHS ARE BUSINESS
OPPORTUNITIES!
>>> Over 3,500
people are
expected at the 2009 Founders Day Festival providing businesses with a
great opportunity to meet the public. The DS Area Chamber of Commerce
is sponsoring business booths for new and local vendors. What a great
way to greet your customers, extend goodwill, donate to the community,
network with other businesses and communicate first-hand your products
or services. Applications are on a first come, first serve basis.
